Ibsen's modules are based on our high-resolution spectrometer platform.

The spectrometer platform combines Ibsen fused silica transmission gratings with patented optical designs, and provides a base for a broad range of devices for sensing and telecom applications.

The high-resolution spectrometer platform spatially separates a wavelength spectrum utilizing multiple transmission gratings to provide a unique optimization of high optical resolution combined with compact size by turning the light 360 degrees inside a compact housing.

I-MON Interrogation Monitors for FBG Sensor Applications

The I-MON Interrogation monitors are based on our high-resolution spectrometer platform and offer fast spectrum monitoring of Fiber Bragg Grating (FBG) sensors. Combined with compact size and straightforward integration, the I-MONs are ideal for vibration analysis or temperature, pressure or strain measurement systems.

D-MON Optical Channel Monitors

The D-MON OCM is based on our high-resolution spectrometer platform and provides a fast, compact, low power channel monitoring device. The small package includes electronics for straightforward integration.

Customization and Partnerships

Our patented spectrometer platform offers a high degree of flexibility because the output plane is physically separated from the input fiber.

This makes it easy to replace the existing image sensor not only with customized image sensors to make other types of spectrometers, but also e.g., switch arrays or fiber arrays to make advanced DWDM devices such as gain flattening filters, multiplexers or optical add/drop multiplexers for telecom applications.
